The Malone Documents

This collection of letters, documents, papers, postcards, telegrams and maps - the Malone Documents - offers a first-hand glimpse into the military history of Lieutenant Colonel William George Malone (24 Jan 1859 - 8 August 1915). The documents formed part of the Great War Exhibition in Wellington from 2015 to 2018.

At the request of Sir Peter Jackson, the creator of the exhibition, Daniel Reeve combined forces once again with New Zealand Micrographic Services to create replicas of these important pieces, so that the originals could be rested, as well as immortalizing a slice of New Zealand history.
